Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments, and filing of medical records. The successful candidate must possess good verbal communication and organizational skills, be detail oriented and efficiently handle a multi-line switchboard
Knowledge of DISC/CERNER computer scheduling system preferred but will train.
Previous medical reception experience necessary.

| Medical Support Supervisor | Associated Skin Care Specialists, P.A., a growing dermatology practice, is seeking two full-time Medical Support Supervisors (RN/LPN). One position will be supervising medical support staff at our clinic in the Unity Professional Building in Fridley and the other at our Maple Grove clinic. These positions will report to and work closely with the Nurse Manager. Hours will generally be from 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate staff coverage daily, personnel management of medical support staff, manage inventory, primary preceptor for new hires, promote and model professionalism, implement policies and procedures, ensure compliance with OSHA, keep the flow of the clinic running smoothly, promote teamwork through demonstrated leadership skills. The Maple Grove supervisor will also triage patient calls and perform prior authorization and refills.
Qualifications: Experience in dermatology preferred. Knowledge of CLIA compliance and regulations, management or supervisory experience, surgical and sterile procedure experience, preferably Mohs experience, ability to multi-task. Current Minnesota RN or LPN licensure and current CPR certification required.
